If you were in front of me, I’d probably be smiling and waving at you right now. It’s an embarrassing thing I do sometimes, but truth is, I think it’s such a friendly gesture.

I’m originally from Southern California, but now live in Brooklyn, NY. The earliest memory I have of falling in love with creating was when I was five. My dad and I were sitting at the kitchen table and he drew a vase of flowers for me. I was so impressed by how simple shapes could make up a picture and since then, being creative has always been something I really enjoy. Whether it’s clicking on a million tiny points on a path, cutting vegetables to make a large batch of lumpia to share with friends, doodling my current outfit obsessions, or ruining my DIY mani on an installation I’m building, I’m happiest when I’m making something.

I thrive on the challenge of taking an idea and developing it from initial exploration to final execution. The process is an exciting adventure, even if it can be stressful at times. But who doesn’t enjoy a bit of problem-solving? It makes the results even more rewarding.
